For 17 years now, the Olympiad has been following five principles:  

• Identification of initiative and talented youth in the field of information technology

• Creation of a personnel reserve of specialists for the development of the labor market

• Support for graduates and students of technical areas

• Preparation of Olympiad tasks based on practices from IT companies operating in the global market

Conducting a large number of disciplines from programming to design for different areas in the IT field

Last year we recruited up to 3,500 people from 75 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 foreign countries, and we are ready to accept even more talented participants!

The Volga-IT International Digital Olympiad was among the six winners of the project competition, which will be supported by the Ulyanovsk Region Information Technology Development Fund this year. The Fund was created to develop the ecosystem of information technologies in the region, and since 2016 has supported more than 150 projects worth tens of millions of ruble

The 1 stage (01.08–30.09), the qualification stage takes place, at which participants undergo online testing in various disciplines.

The 2 stage (07.10–31.10), semifinals are held, during which participants complete homework in their chosen discipline.

The final (28.11–02.12) the final will be held live in Ulyanovsk for the strongest finalists selected based on the results of the previous stages, and an interesting educational program will be held with master classes and acquaintances with leading IT companies, as well as industrial tourism.
